Timber + Love Design | Build
Founded by HGTV's Luke Caldwell in 2015, our Design | Build studio designs and builds custom homes and design-forward remodels across the Treasure Valley, with one team accountable from first sketch to final walkthrough.
One team, one vision
When the people who design your home are the same people who build it, nothing gets lost in translation. You get a single point of accountability, a cleaner process, and a finished home that looks like what you were promised, because the design intent never leaves the room.

New construction
We design and build custom homes that are tailored to how you actually live, then detailed with the design-forward touches the Timber and Love name is known for. From site and floor plan to the final finishes, one team carries the vision the whole way through.
Ready to build now? Our Greenway community offers a limited collection of home sites just off the river in Boise, where you can build one of our signature designs or a fully custom home of your own.
Remodeling & renovation
Luke got his start breathing new life into Boise homes, and it is still what the Design | Build team loves most. From whole-home renovations to historic restorations, kitchens, baths, and additions, we blend character with modern comfort.
With more than 100 restorations and renovations behind us, and the work featured on HGTV's Boise Boys and Outgrown, we know how to plan a remodel that stays on vision and on track.
How it works
01
We start with how you live, your goals, budget, and site, and shape a clear scope and timeline before any design work begins.
02
We design the home or remodel around that plan, drawings, materials, and design-forward details, so you can see it before it is built.
03
One accountable team builds what we designed, with a builder's eye on quality and steady communication through the final walkthrough.
